Just wondering how to properly remove the shaft. I removed the grub screw and clip on the front side but can't get the shaft out. Does the whole assembly come apart?

Thanks Shane

Do you have the shaft lock (wheel collar) off of the shaft? if so at that paoint the motor shell would seperate from the part with the windings on it. then the shaft  can be pressed out or tapped out (lightly tap on the shaft) make sure that the aluminum shell is eavenly supported so it doesnt bend, th shaft should come out easily, if you have to use too much force, something is wrong
