Mr smith
He's back. From all the forum info i have read the dl 30 will pull the wheels off that 260.
Should swing 19x8 approx. 7400 rpms. With the weight of the 260 it will be a anti-gravity bird.
They are even at lower altitudes using 20x6. Don't forget they have a single shaft adapter availible.
No more 4 hole drilling.
Glad to see your going into wings again Dickster.

p.s. clayman can help on adapters.

Before I make my purchase what problems do you guys forsee if I use my Saito 1.50 in this beautiful plane.  Though I live in California, Cermark does not provide the info or support that Abellrc does.  With that being said I would prefer to make my purchase with Abellrc.  What will i need to complete this project i.e. servos extensions etc?

Actually I think that the Saito 150 will work Great!, The performance of the 150 should be relatively close to the CRRC 26, couple that with the fact that you wont be packing around an extra battery and ignition module, your 260 will be lighter than the one in this thread.

As far as what you will need to complete the plane goes the following is what I used

5 ~ Hitec HS-965 Servos,  a little over kill I admit, but I strongly recommend metal gear servos on the control surfaces
If you choose to use dual elevator servos you will need to use low profile servos so that they clear each other inside the fuselage
2 ~ 12" Extensions for the ailerons
1 ~ 18" Extension for the Elevator Servo (2 if you use the dual elevator setup)
1 ~ 24" Extension for the Rudder Servo (no needed if you go with the Pull/Pull setup)
1 ~ 12" Extension for the Throttle Servo
1 ~ 18" Extension for the Ignition Module
2 ~ DSC Heavy Duty Switches (one for the ignition and one for the RX)
1 ~ 2-3/4" Aluminum Spinner
1 ~ 2000 mah 4.8v Battery for the ignition
1 ~ 2000 mah 6.0v Battery for the RX
1 ~ Thin CA Hinge Glue
1 ~ Medium Gap Filling CA

I hope I didn't forget anything Huh? The rest of the hardware I used came with the kit or Engine,,, Ohh! Fuel Line, I know your setup is going to be for Glow Fuel but for the rest of the people reading this thread that go with a gasoline engine I did need a heavier fuel line clunk so that the fuel line would reach the bottom of the tank.

Hope this helps you Sneakywrist
